Red Velvet Cheesecake Brownie

This sounds honestly disgusting… BUT it is unique and that is what I am al about. I can tell you it is not disgusting actually very delicious!!!! The flavors are bright from the orange and also rich from the red velvet!!!

Ingredients

Brownie

  • 1 stick unsalted butter melted

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 1/2 red food coloring

  • 2 large eggs

  • 3/4 cup flour

  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder

    Cheesecake layer

  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese

  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

    Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350, grease a 9x9 baking pan

  • Combine melted butter, sugar, and vanilla and mix well until smooth

  • Next, add in salt, red food coloring, and eggs and combine well

  • Add in the flour and cocoa powder and mix until combined

  • Poor batter into a greased pan and set aside

  • In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and the egg until smooth

  • Dollop the cheesecake on top of the brownie batter evenly

  • Using a knife swirl the cheesecake batter into the red velvet base to create a a design

  • Bake in the oven for about 27 minutes or until a toothpick is inserted and comes out clean, Cool completely before cutting into squares. ENJOY!!!
