Pumpkin Cream Cheese Bread
Ok, come on do I even need an explanation for this? Pumpkin bread is a staple. it has a creamy cream cheese swirl, chocolate chips, and a warm spiced pumpkin flavor with real pumpkin puree! This recipe makes 2 loaves, if you just want one you can cut the recipe in half.
Bread Batter Ingrediants
1 can or 15 ounces of pumpkin puree
4 eggs
1 stick melted unsalted butter
1/2 cup applesauce
2/3 cup milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 sugar
3 1/2 flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp salt
3 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Cream Cheese Swirl Ingredients
16 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp milk
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, grease or line 2 bread pans with parchment
In a bowl combine pumpkin, eggs, butter, apple sauce, milk, vanilla extract, and sugar
In a separate bowl whisk flour, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, and salt
Pour the dry into the wet and mix until just combined, stir in chocolate chips
Set this aside and prepare the cream cheese filling, beat the cream cheese, sugar, egg, and milk until smooth
Pour a little bit of the pumpkin batter into the loaf pan, spread it to cover the bottom, and then spoon cream cheese filling and swirl it on top. Continue to alternate until your pan is 3/4 full and then bake for 60-80 minutes or until an inserted knife comes out clean.
Cool the loaf for at least 20 minutes and ENJOY!
