Ultimate Chewy Brownie
This Recipe is so so so good. Perfect with a nice glass of milk or ice cream! I love this recipe because you can basically add any mixing that you want, Reese’s, potato chips, nuts, Oreos. Literally anything can go in a brownie! Makes 24 servings, if you want cut it in half to make 12 servings and use an 8x8 baking dish.
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
4 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup Dutch-processed or unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 teaspoons espresso powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
desired amount of chocolate chips or other mix-ins you would like to add
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, grease 9x13 baking pan.
in bowl add melted butter, both sugars and mix until smooth and no lumps
next add in eggs, vanilla, salt, and espresso powder. Combine very well
add sifted flour and cocoa powder, do not mix all the way leave some flower unmixed
next add in chocolate chips and fold in with spatula. This will mix in the flour that was not mixed before hand
pour into greased baking dished, tops with more chocolate chips. Bake in oven for 25-30 minutes.
DO NOT overbake because they will not be chewy and thick, they will continue to bake after you pull them out of the oven.
Once you pull them out sprinkle with salt for extra flavor. Let cool for at least 20 minutes. ENJOY!!!
