Classic Blondie
OK, this is just a classic blondie nothing super special. But, still delicious and an easy recipe to make that is quick. I like to put walnuts in my blondies for a nice crunch. This is made in a 9x13 pan make 24 servings. If you want to cut this recipe in half you can use an 8x8 pan.
Ingredients:
1 cup butter, browned on the stove or melted
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs, 2 yolks
2 tbsp vanilla extract
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 cups flour
Measure with heart the chocolate chips, NOT optional
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°. Spray a 9×13 pan with oil.
Combine the melted butter and brown sugar in a medium sized bowl.
Add in the eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
Add in the salt, baking powder, and flour. Mix until just combined.
Stir in any add-ins you'd like.
Pour the batter into the prepared 9×13 pan. Spread to cover the bottom of the pan.
Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until barely golden brown. These become dry very easily if you think they are a little underdone pull them out to get a ooey gooey licious center ;)
